Basic steps to do On-Page optimization

• Research relevant Keyword for your domain through different tools like Overture, Wordtracker etc.
• Find out researched Keywords competition in major search engines like google, yahoo.
• Now do optimizations for less competitor keyword first.
• Optimize selected Keyword by putting that keyword in Meta tag of domain page (Title description and keyword & alt tags.)
• Upload pages.
• Wait till Google crawl optimized pages.
• Check ranking for that particular optimized Keywords.

Things to remember during Optimization

• It’s beneficial if domain name will be same to any keyword optimizing for domain.
• Choose relevant keywords for relevant page of domain
• Don’t try to repeat keywords more then three times in any tag.
• Never optimize same keyword for different pages of same domain.
• Never use same tags content in all pages of domain.
• Description tag should be in descriptive way.
• Don’t use too much images and header tags on pages.
• Never use duplicate content and tags
• Never repeat too much keywords in content as well as. Keywords strength should not be more then 20%.
• Try too add more content after some period of time.
• Do improvements in optimization, by changes tags.
• Never put hidden text
